So this is a little more cluttered than I would like, but I think the paintover helped. Yes, this poor lady has to keep giving back news. I need a different model.
The image on the left shows the containment units in broken and complete states. For the creature, I did a quick and dirty sculpt in ZBrush to get a general shape. Glass distortion is awesome for creatures. You’ll notice that the creatures in the final image really bear no resemblance to the model. The distortion and darkness allowed for some interesting shapes, which I prefer.
